Top 3 Affordable Curriculum for the Christian Homeschooler.
When you think of curriculums don’t think that you have to choose the entire box set for your child’s grade. You can go through this list and pick and choose what you like and what will suit your family structure.
There is never one size fits all when it comes to lesson planning. Always go with your child’s learning style and your teaching style as well. We can’t get burnt out, as mother teachers, while teaching lessons!
#1 Master Books
I love this company! If you are just starting out, I highly recommend browsing their site!
You will find so many great books and resources here at affordable prices. They have even laid out curriculum by age or grade level that makes finding books and lessons so easy! Don’t forget to check out their reading books by age for those morning baskets!
Speaking of morning baskets, they have a section for that too!
If you don’t know what a morning basket is, I will explain that in a future post.
All in all, this is a well rounded company that has based it’s curriculum on the foundation of God. Highly recommend!
#2 My Father’s World
This company has my heart. We used it our first couple of years homeschooling and I must say, if you are wanting that solid biblical foundation in character from the get go, this is it!
Their site is extremely easy to browse and the curriculum bundles are set at affordable prices.
One of the pros to using My Father’s World, is that with multiple children, you can cycle through the lessons together. They explain how that works in their family learning cycle.
If you are on a budget, you will appreciate their low prices listed by grade to make an easy decision.
Another pro to this company is they actually call to check in on you! So if you ever have questions or concerns about a lesson, they are always there to assist with any problems you may have.
#3 Simply Charlotte Mason
For those who are not familiar with the Charlotte Mason approach to learning, this one may confuse you. Charlotte Mason believed that children are born persons, each needing to explore the world around them. God is the foundation of learning and she was adamant on short lessons to build attention, training in good habits and many hours outdoors in nature.
This biblical based curriculum, from Simply Charlotte Mason, is laid out in such a way that makes Charlotte’s principles easy to follow.
While the book lists for each subject and grade can get overwhelming here, you as the parent can choose where to collect them. Piecing this curriculum together with outside sources such as your local library or online library will make it super affordable!
This company also has a free consultation by phone or email to get you started, which is super helpful!

Easy Peasy All-in-One Homeschool : This company offers many printable resources and lessons completely free! You will want to bookmark this site for later. If you choose, their printable lesson plans can be found on Amazon and are very inexpensive.
